Begin your transition knowing if you are eligible for the ASHA Conversion Discount:
- Do you qualify for the the Conversion Discount?
The discount gives NSSLHA members $150 off the initial dues and fees for ASHA membership and certification. To get the discount you must have 2 consecutive years of national membership including the year of your master's or doctoral graduation.
A student graduating from a master's or doctoral program in 2009 must have national membership in 2008 and 2009.
A student graduating from a master's or doctoral program in 2010 must have national membership in 2009 and 2010.

Haven't joined for 2009? *Very Important* Students graduating from a master's program in 2010 must apply for 2009 national membership by December 31, 2009 to qualify for the Conversion discount. Students graduating from a master's program after July 1, 2009 who are not current NSSLHA members must apply to ASHA under the Recent Graduate category of membership.

Is your masters or doctoral graduation information updated?Incorrect or missing degree information can keep you from qualifying for the Conversion Discount. Update your degree information using the online survey or call the Action Center to update your degree information over the phone at 800-498-2071.
