NSSLHA Chapters must recertify annually with the national association to remain in good standing.
Guidelines for recertification:
- The chapter must select a Chapter Advisor that is a current member of ASHA.
- The local chapter officers must be members of the national association (at a minimum a chapter can be recertified as long as the chapter president and vice-president are members of the national association).
- The local chapter must submit a copy of the current local chapter bylaws. (Download sample Chapter Bylaws - RTF version)
