Applications for Regional Councilor are being accepted from NSSLHA members enrolled in a CSD program in the following regions:
Region I: Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Nova Scotia, Quebec
Region III: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee, West Virginia
Region IV: Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Ontario
Region VI: Colorado, Kansas, Minnesota, North Dakota, Nebraska, Oklahoma, South Dakota
Region IX: Arizona, Montana, New Mexico, Texas, Utah, Wyoming, Alberta, Puerto Rico, Mexico
Applying for a Regional Councilor position is simple:
You should consider applying if you are:
- A current member of the national association. Membership on the local level does not qualify.
- Majoring in human communication sciences and disorders or a related disorder.
- Eligible for NSSLHA membership during the two-year term of office. (You may apply even if you will enter a CFY by the end of your term).
- Able to serve as a NSSLHA regional councilor for the entire two-year term of office.
