Booth Set Up

Friday, November 21, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Dismantling

What Your Career Fair Package Includes

  • A 9' × 10' booth with one 6' skirted table, three side chairs, carpet, and a wastebasket
  • A 3' curtain will surround each booth on 2 sides
  • A 7" x 44" booth ID sign that includes company name (30 character limit), city/state, and booth number
  • Online resume database access through November 30
  • One job posting, unlimited word count that expires on November 30
  • Two badges to access the Career Fair and the Exhibit Hall
  • Your company name and a 25-word description in the Exhibits guide when you register by September 5

Career Fair Booth Rates

Through October 15, 2008:
9' x 10' premium booth space (booths near high traffic areas) = $935 per booth
9' x 10' booth = $850 per booth

After October 15, 2008:
9' x 10' booth = $1,000 per booth

How to Purchase a Career Fair Booth

Step 1: If this is your first time posting an ad on ASHA's Career Center or registering for the Career Fair, complete the registration form, choose the booth type, then pay for your booth. Returning users login to reserve and pay for this year's booth.

Step 2: On September 10, login to post your free 80-day online job posting. Once we've approved your ad, we'll post it to the site.

Step 3: After your ad is approved, search the resume database and set up meetings with candidates who have indicated they will be attending Convention.

Recruiter's Badge Form

Already registered and have purchased a booth? Submit badge information by October 30 and have your badge ready and waiting for you.

Search Resume

After you pay for your interview booth and post your ad on September 10, research potential employees by accessing the online resume database.

Free Employer Profile

Purchase your booth by September 5 and then submit your 25-word company description to be included in the Convention Exhibits Guide.

University Faculty

Recruiting for a University Faculty job? Universities with faculty openings can exhibit in their own designated area.When you purchase your package, please select the "Faculty Openings" option.

Payment

Booth types vary (University, Standard, or Premium). A Visa, MasterCard, or American Express is required to reserve and/or purchase your booth. Booth assignment is made upon receipt of payment.

If you require an invoice, once you have a login and password for the site, please contact Brian Andrews in customer service at 888-491-8833, ext. 1014, or e-mail customerservice@jobcontrolcenter.com to request an invoice. You will receive a booth assignment once your payment has been received.

Shipping Information

Advance Warehouse Shipments

All materials shipped in advance to the warehouse must arrive by November 11, 2008. Any shipment arriving after this date will be charged an additional 30% per cwwt, $50.00 minimum.

Direct Shipments

If you plan to ship exhibit materials to the Convention Center, the first day for direct freight acceptance is November 18, 2008. Make sure you get an estimate of drayage rates. The minimum handling charge is $172.50. Champion Exposition Services has a service manual with with information and the appropriate forms [PDF, 9.4MB]. This manual also contains forms necessary for contracting for electrical and audiovisual and computer equipment.
