What AV Will be Available for My Session?

All rooms will be equipped with:

• Screen
• One podium microphone
• Panel presentations may have additional microphones
• Pointer
• Computer with PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Access, CD drive, DVD drive, Windows XP operating system
• Projection equipment for computer and video appropriate to the size of the room
• ZIP drives are available upon request; after acceptance, e-mail papers@asha.org
• Switcher for use with personal laptop computers 

Please note the following equipment is no longer available:

• No VHS players available, please convert your tapes to DVD
• No overhead or slide projectors available for 2008
• No Internet access will be available for sessions
• There is no AV equipment for poster sessions
  

Poster Session Boards

The board surface is approximately 4" x 8" wide, and are made of soft fabric with aluminum frames. Materials may be attached using pushpins or velcro. Each board will have pushpins and velcro for presenters to secure their poster.

Note: No AV equipment or electrical outlets are available for poster sessions

Poster Session Set-Up Times

• No set up on Wednesday afternoon
• Set-up times for Thursday posters, 11/20: 6:30-7:30 a.m. or 5:00-6:00 p.m.
• Set-up times for Friday posters, 11/21: 6:30-7:30 a.m. or 5:00-6:00 p.m.
• Set-up time for Saturday posters, 11/22: 6:30-7:30 a.m.
• All posters must be removed by 5:00 p.m.
