Announcements

Esophageal Anatomy & Physiology (ASHA members only)

Review the discussion of esophageal anatomy and physiology and clinical case application on the Division 13-sponsored Web event (archived content), held in the ASHA discussion forums August 28.

Perspectives is now an Internet publication

Effective this year, Special Interest Division member publications, Perspectives, are  published online only. The Divisions are going to this new format:

  • To respond to affiliates' interests in accessing content online
  • To provide new benefits (e.g., archived issues; search/research capabilities)
  • To continue publication:
  • A rise in division affiliation, increases in content and frequency of publication, and increases in postage costs made it necessary to find a better, more economical way to publish Perspectives.
  • To be more environmentally friendly: Online publishing saves resources (paper, energy).
