The 2003 ASHA Omnibus Survey asked members to select their top three factors for job satisfaction. Respondents were divided by their work settings as follows: hospitals, residential settings (e.g., long-term care and facilities for developmentally disabled), and nonresidential settings (e.g., home health, outpatient centers, community speech clinics, and private physicians' offices).
