How To Join

Are you going to the 2010 ASHA Convention and will be a NEW NSSLHA member? Apply here.

For a quick and easy way to join, use our online application. You may use the online application if you are an undergraduate student (pursuing a bachelors or associates degree) or a graduate student who is graduating in or after 2010.

Don't want to join online? Just download your application! You'll need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader (version 5.0 or later) to access the files.

Important Notice for Master's and Doctoral Graduates

If you are graduating from a master's or doctoral program in 2011, you need national membership in 2010 and 2011 to qualify for the NSSLHA to ASHA Membership Conversion Discount.  

Students graduating from a master's program in 2011 must apply for 2010 national membership by August 31, 2010. If you miss the deadline, you will only be able to receive 2010 membership by paying for your NSSLHA membership in a package of 2010 and 2011 membership.

Students graduating from a master's program after July 1, 2010 who are not current NSSLHA members must apply to ASHA under the Recent Graduate category of membership. For more information about graduate student NSSLHA member benefits, visit the Graduate Student Information page.
