If you are an undergraduate, the time to start preparing for a career in audiology, speech-language pathology or the related sciences is now. You'll be making a considerable investment of time and money - just what you would expect to enter a rewarding career. You want both the educational program of your choice, as well as all the financial aid you need. That means finding the information you need and acting on it as soon as possible. ASHA is your resource for making it happen.

When choosing a graduate program consider your future certification from ASHA. You must complete your graduate coursework and clinical practicum at an institution whose CSD program  is accredited by the ASHA Council on Academic Accreditation (CAA). These highly respected institutions know the value of accreditation, it assures them—and you—that the academic program and clinical practicum meet nationally established standards.
