Membership Eligibility

National NSSLHA membership is available to students:

  • In part- or full-time undergraduate and graduate CSD programs
  • Pursuing audiology or speech-language pathology assistant degrees
  • Pursuing a doctorate of philosophy or doctorate of audiology degree
  • Enrolled in CSD programs outside of the United States

Note: When applying for National NSSLHA membership, students are required to provide current academic degree information.

Ineligibility

National NSSLHA membership is not available to students who:

  • Have applied for or received the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Have been barred, removed, or expelled from an academic program as a result of illegal conduct
  • Have been a member of National NSSLHA for more than 10 years
